On Wednesday, 19th
August a special Memorial Service was held at our Kotodesh Programme to honour
Ron Kelly, who went home to the Lord in May.
Pat Kelly had travelled to Albania to be with the LWI/AAC team for the
service and they were joined by many local people from the villages and
representatives of other ministries.
Pat writes:-
“Today (19th August) was a very special day here in Albania
for me and our family here. In the village of Kotodesh in our church/feeding
program we had a very beautiful memorial service for Ron. It was filled with
wonderful testimonies of Ron's life here in Albania and the effect it had on so
many people. I was so moved to tears throughout the service at the love poured
out from everyone's hearts to the memory of Ron. As many have said "what a
legacy he has left!". We as a family here have cried and
grieved but we have also shared many laughs with the funny stories each one has
told as we have sat together reminiscing. Thank you my Albania family for
honoring Roni with your wonderful show of love today and all the days we have
been here from the beginning 20 years ago! He loves you so much and I use the
present tense because he lives today and his love continues even until we are
all gathered together to our heavenly home and to our Father.”
